This is a weblog that celebrates efforts to restore constitutional government while exposing statist politicians and their causes.

South Carolina Democrats
It appears that on Saturday they were allergic to feeling the Bernas the potential jailbird-to-be walked away with the South Carolina primary for Democrats.

Nevada GOP Caucuses: Easy Win For The Donald; RoboMarco, CanTex Duel For Second
Looks as if Donald Trump handily won Tuesday's Nevada Republican caucuses by roughly 20 percentage points while Texas Senator Ted Cruz and his Florida counterpart Marco Rubio dueled for second place with Ohio Governor John Kasich (who skipped the Silver State) and Dr. Ben Carson being nonfactors.

The Donald Wins SC GOP Primary; RoboMarco Noses Out CanTex For Second; Jeb Calls It Quits; Hillary Tops Bernie In Dems' Nevada Caucuses
Donald Trump topped the South Carolina Republican primary field on Saturday while Marco Rubio pipped Ted Cruz for second.
Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush called it quits on Saturday night after finishing fourth in said primary.
As for the Democrats, potential jailbird Hillary Clinton topped Bernie Sanders in the Saturday Nevada Caucuses.

Alex Jones Show (3rd HOUR-VIDEO Commercial Free) Friday 2/12/2016: Lew R...
Here's a conversation between nationally-syndicated radio (and TV) talk-show host Alex Jones and Lew Rockwell from the Ludwig von Mises Institute.
Lew had some very interesting things to say during the third hour of this Friday's edition of Alex's show.
Bernie Sanders Is A Fraud
Is Bernie really a socialist? Or is he, in reality, a fascist?
Remember, a socialist, which the junior US Senator from Vermont proclaims himself to be, believes in government ownership of the means of production while a "progressive" (an American fascist) supports capitalism as long as it is regulated and controlled by the state.
Fraud or not, this guy is still very dangerous.
Maybe Those Who Wanted The Citizens United Ruling (Which I Myself Support) Overturned
Won't have to wait.
Perhaps the GOP-controlled Senate won't go into recess for the rest of the year so that King Barack can't make any recess appointment for fill the newly-created vacancy.

Once There Were Seventeen
Now there are six.
Sooner or later, with having absolutely no traction whatsoever, the time had to come for this fellow to call it quits.

Chris and Carly Call It Quits
If you recall, the ex-HP CEO was excluded from last Saturday's debate. In Tuesday's New Hampshire GOP primary, she beat out only Ben Carson and Jim Gilmore.
Meanwhile, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who finished sixth in New Hampshire, called it quits too.

Bernie: Socialist or Keynesian?
Is the junior US Senator from the Green Mountain State really a socialist?
Not so--------not even a democratic one-----------says Lew Rockwell.
Remember, boys and girls, a real socialist supports the government ownership of the means of production.

New Hampshire: Easy Primary Wins For Bernie and The Donald; John Kasich Second In GOP With CanTex Third, Then Jeb and Marco
Easy Tuesday wins in the New Hampshire primaries for Donald Trump (GOP) and Bernie Sanders (Dems).
The real battle for the Republicans was for second place with Ohio Governor John Kasich in the number two slot.
Ted "CanTex" Cruz finished third, just ahead of Mommy's Boy---------I mean----------Jeb Bush, then RoboMarco finished fifth after a tough debate performance this past Saturday (even though your humble correspondent does, to a degree, agree that the current occupant of the Oval Office does know what's he's doing).
A tough night for Chris Christie who finished sixth, finishing ahead only of Carly Fiorina (who was excluded from the Saturday debate), Dr. Ben Carson (whose candidacy has got to be on life support), and ex-Virginia Governor Jim Gilmore, who had less than 1% of the vote.
As much as I disagree with his economic policies, I'm not going to sell Bernie Sanders short here. He can still make thing rough for Hillary Clinton.
Amongst a growing number of Democrats (as well as GOPers), Mrs. Clinton is seen as dishonest.

Interesting Take On Voting By Lew Rockwell
It may not be what it's cracked up to be.
Here's a snippet:
But to the contrary, we should spurn what the establishment would have us celebrate. Politics operates according to principles that would horrify us if we observed them in our private lives, and that would get us arrested if we tried to live by them. The state can steal and call it taxation, kidnap and call it conscription, kill and call it war.
And yet we are taught to fear capitalism, of all things.
But what, after all, are capitalism and the free market? They are nothing more than the sum total of voluntary exchanges in society.
When we engage in a voluntary exchange — when I buy apples for $5, or when you hire someone for $25 per hour — both sides are better off than they would have been in the absence of the exchange.
We can’t say the same for our interactions with the state, since we pay the state under threat of violence. The state sure winds up better off, though. That’s for sure.

Hey, Bernie!
If you like those socialized Scandinavian countries so much, why don't you run for Prime Minister in one of them?
Now What?
It now looks like I'll probably vote alternative party again this November.
Or, as was the case in 2012, write-in his dad's name.
At least now he'll concentrate on keeping his Senate seat.

GOP: Ted Cruz Holds Off The Donald, Marco, In Iowa, With Rand Paul In Fifth Place; Maybe Mike Huckabee Can Now Revive His Old FNC Show
Ted Cruz won Monday night's Iowa Republican caucuses while Donald Trump finshed just ahead of Marco Rubio for second place.
Rand Paul finished fifth at roughly 4%.
Meanwhile, ex-Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee pulled the plug on his presidential campaing.

Dems: It's The Bernie and Hillary Show With No Supporting Players (At This Time)
Ex-Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley is pulling the plug on his candidacy.
Meanwhile, in the Democrats' Iowa caucuses on Monday, it looked like a toss-up between the former First Lady, US Senator, US Secretary of State, and potential future Jailbird and the junior US Senator---and avowed socialist---from the Green Mountain State.
