Establishment Media Trick

I think the reason that Republican and/or conservative-oriented states are labeled as "red" states and Democratic and/or statist-oreinted states are labeled "blue" because the Democrats had long resented being branded as "socialists" and/or soft on communism.

Actually, the Republican states should be labled as the "blue" states and their Democratic counterparts should be labeled as "red," if you know what I mean.
