Are People Living In California Living In Oceania?

The reason why I've decided to post the 1956 film version of "1984" is because of the infamous "Two Minute Hate."  This film, produced in Britain and made by Holiday Films and released by Columbia Pictures, stars Edmond O'Brien as Winston Smith of the Outer Party with Michael Redgrave as Mr. O'Connor of the Inner Party.  Jan Sterling co-starred as another Outer Party member.



To those who vehemently oppose President Trump, they might as well be living in Oceania (that would be the West Coast) with the rest of the country (save for the Boston-to-Washington corridor) being the hated Eurasia.
