Hawaii may have been surprised by the Japanese attack that took place 76 years ago today.
But FDR wasn't.
This guy so badly wanted to get this country into another European war.
My take is that, despite all the propaganda, the New Deal was not the big success its' apologists claimed it to be and that may have been a major reason why President Roosevelt wanted to get this country into another war.
This may have been an attempt to avenge the defeat of the Versailles Treaty (and League of Nations membership) at the hands of the US Senate and the American people a generation earlier.
